Witch's cradle branches are food items obtained from witch's cradles. You can also use these branches to plant more cradles.

Witch's cradles are quick-growing plants that grow witch's cradle branches. These cradles can be harvested to obtain more branches. Players and most mobs are slowed down and take constant damage while moving through witch's cradles.

Natural Generation

Witch's cradles can be found in both modded and unmodded swamps. Without other mods installed, this is limited to the swamp and mangrove swamp.

Usage

Food

To eat witch's cradle branches, press and hold use while it is selected in the hotbar. Eating one restores 3 hunger (1.5 drumsticks) and 0.4 saturation.

Witch's cradles can be planted on both modded and vanilla soil blocks. The tag that this plant uses is minecraft:supports_vegetation. The full list without other mods installed is as follows:

Breaking

Witch's cradles can be mined instantly with any tool or by hand. A mature witch's cradle yields 2–3 branches. On its third growth stage, the bush yields 1–2 branches. Each level of Fortune can increase the amount of drops by 1.

Harvesting

Witch's cradle branches can be collected from a witch's cradle by pressing the use control on it, yielding 1–2 branches in its third growth stage, and 2–3 branches in its final growth stage. After dropping the branches on the ground, the cradle reverts to its second growth stage.
